Kasper Schmeichel has reportedly agreed terms with Leicester City on a new four-year contract, all but ending speculation of a move away from the Foxes this summer.
According to PA, the Danish international, who was due to be out of contract next month, has decided to stay with Leicester despite reported interest from Arsenal, AC Milan and Southampton.
The 27-year-old helped Leicester win the Championship title this season and now looks likely to start between the sticks for the Foxes in the Premier League next season.
Schmeichel is one of several Leicester players who will be out of contract this summer.
Top scorer David Nugent is also believed to be in advanced negotiations over a new contract, while Lloyd Dyer is thought to have turned down his extension and is now on the verge of signing with Watford.
