Juventus could reportedly sign Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz during this summer's transfer window.

Villa finished fourth in the 2023-24 Premier League table to secure a spot in next season's Champions League.

However, the club are under pressure to make a big sale this summer to ensure that they stay within the parameters of Financial Fair Play.

According to Calciomercato, Villa's sporting director Monchi met with Juventus chiefs last week to discuss a move for Luiz, with a deal potentially going through before the end of the month.

The report claims that Weston McKennie could potentially move in the opposite direction, with the two clubs locked in negotiations.

The 26-year-old was a vital player for Unai Emery's side during the 2023-24 campaign, making 53 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and registering 10 assists in the process.

Arsenal are also believed to be long-term admirers of the Brazil international.

Elsewhere, Real Betis are reportedly interested in re-signing Tottenham Hotspur attacker Giovani Lo Celso during this summer's transfer window.

The 28-year-old struggled to make his mark for Spurs during the 2023-24 campaign, only managing two goals and two assists in 24 appearances in all competitions.

Lo Celso's contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is due to expire next June, and he is currently being heavily linked with a move away from North London.

Villa have been credited with an interest, but according to Sky Sports News, Real Betis are keen to explore the possibility of bringing him back to the club.

The Argentine previously represented the La Liga side during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring 16 goals and registering six assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.

Lo Celso has also spent time on loan at Villarreal during his time with Spurs, representing the Yellow Submarine on 51 occasions, scoring three goals and registering four assists in the process.

Meanwhile, according to football.london, Ipswich Town are keen to sign Chelsea attacker Omari Hutchinson on a permanent basis during this summer's transfer window.

The 20-year-old spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan with Ipswich, representing the club on 50 occasions, scoring 11 goals and registering six assists in the process.

Hutchinson made 44 outings in the Championship, scoring 10 goals and registering six assists, helping the club to secure a return to the Premier League for the 2024-25 season.

Ipswich are allegedly determined to bring him back to Portman Road on a permanent basis, with the newly-promoted outfit said to be prepared to pay £20m for his services.

Hutchinson, who recently had his contract extended at Chelsea until June 2026, is also reportedly being tracked by Stuttgart, Ajax and Feyenoord ahead of the opening of the summer market.

The youngster made two first-team appearances for the Blues during the 2022-23 campaign. body check tags ::
