Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has revealed his belief that his goal against world champions Spain will do him "a lot of good" ahead of the return to domestic action.
It took Giroud until the start of October to open his league account for his new club, and the 26-year-old said that he hopes that goal and his one against Spain will improve "trust" in him.
"That goal is definitely one of my top five," L'Equipe quotes Giroud as saying. "It has also come at a time when I am looking for trust.
"After the West Ham game I felt a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I am convinced this last goal will also do me a lot of good."
Giroud has two goals in 13 France caps.
