Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has insisted that the stakes will be completely different when his side meet AS Monaco for the second time in four days in the French Cup on Wednesday.
The pair played out a goalless draw in Ligue 1 at the weekend, with the Parisians now welcoming Leonardo Jardim's side to the Parc des Princes to battle it out for a place in the semi-final of the Coupe de France.
"The stakes are completely different, it's a different competition compared to last Sunday's game against Monaco," said Blanc, according to the team's official website.
"I think both teams will be more or less the same, and our styles won't change. But this time we need to score and there has to be a winner. I hope the match will be a little more open than Sunday's.
"Meeting three days later doesn't worry me too much. Monaco are a form team at the moment, they're playing well. This quarter-final may well be decided on the little details. If my team plays like they did on Sunday, I'll be happy, but we will need to take our chances. Only winning counts in the Cup if we want to reach the next round."
PSG currently hold second spot in the Ligue 1 standings.
