Monaco have been unable to break Guingamp down in the opening half of this evening's Ligue 1 match at the Stade Louis II.

After a cagey start to the game, Dimitar Berbatov headed over the first chance for the hosts from James Rodriguez's delivery.

The rest of the opening 45 went by with Monaco seeing plenty of the ball but unable to trouble Guingamp, with Thibault Giresse almost nicking a goal for the visitors with the only shot on target.

Anything but a win for Monaco will see Paris Saint-Germain crowned champions. Guingamp are after three points that will help them pull further away from the drop zone.
