Monaco manager Claudio Ranieri has called on his players to be "more aggressive" if they want to challenge for the Ligue 1 title.
Ranieri saw his side slip down to third place in the table on Sunday following their first defeat of the campaign at Lille.
The 62-year-old is now eager for the squad to show a more ruthless streak if they are to get their season back on track.
"Our opponents have been more aggressive. We will have to be more aggressive," Ranieri is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"This happened because many of our players are just discovering Ligue 1, and they need time to adjust to the way they can respond."
Monaco can return to winning ways in Ligue 1 on Friday night when they play host to Evian TG.
