A Thiago Silva own goal cancelled out Javier Pastore's first-half header as Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain shared the points in their top-of-the-table Ligue 1 clash this evening.
After a feisty start to the game, a corner into the box was headed in by an uncontested Pastore for his first goal in over 20 hours of football.
Monaco almost equalised when Lucas Ocampos's shot from the edge of the area was saved by PSG keeper Salvatore Sirigu, with the onrushing Emmanuel Riviere only poking the rebound wide.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic then missed a great chance to double the score for the visitors when he skewed wide from a ball across the box following good work by Pastore and Maxwell.
PSG grew into the game as it progressed, and the impressive Pastore came close when he beat Eric Abidal and got into the box; however, instead of squaring it to the better-placed Ibrahimovic, he fired wide.
After the restart, Ibrahimovic glanced a header just wide before his free kick was pushed round the post.
They were eventually made to rue those missed chances as the unfortunate Silva slid the ball into his own net following good link-up play between Fabio Tavares and James Rodriguez.
