Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has hailed the attributes of the club's new defender Micah Richards.
Twenty-seven-year-old Richards, who joined Villa on a free transfer from Manchester City, skippered the team during last night's 2-0 friendly win over Swindon Town.
Speaking after the match, Agbonlahor insisted that Richards has the potential to be a key player for Tim Sherwood's men.
"He's got everything you need as a centre-half. I must admit, I'm not looking forward to playing him every week in training," he told the club's official website.
"He's got speed, strength, aggression, he's good in the air. He's an all-round centre-half. He's a great addition."
Last season, former England international Richards had a loan stint in Italy with Fiorentina.
