Aston Villa striker Rudy Gestede has claimed that his side deserved all three points from their Premier League clash with high-flying Leicester City this evening.
The Foxes took the lead through Shinji Okazaki in the first half before Riyad Mahrez missed the chance to double that advantage from the penalty spot five minutes later.
Gestede's 75th-minute equaliser rescued a point for the league's bottom side, but Villa's goalscorer believes that they deserved more for their efforts.
"I think we deserve better than a point. They had one good chance, and we a few. We are a bit disappointed - we know we have to win games now, but we take the one point. It's still OK," Gestede told Sky Sports News.
"It keeps the momentum going, Leicester are a good team, but the next one is very important. We have to keep this confidence. It will be tough but we have no choice but to fight."
Villa have now amassed four points from their last two games, but still sit nine adrift of safety.
