Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has alluded to fears that forward Christian Benteke could suffer burnout.
The 22-year-old, who committed his future to the Midlands outfit in the summer, is the focal point of Villa's attack and is expected to feature for Belgium during their World Cup qualifiers.
"He's played a lot of games, including for the national team," the Express & Star quotes Lambert as saying. "He's got to go up and play Scotland, so he's not getting any respite.
"I don't know if he needs a break yet, but sometimes it's important you don't put too much emphasis on him at every point."
Lambert can now provide support to Benteke in the side following the deadline-day signing of Libor Kozak from Lazio.
