Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has labelled Alan Hutton as the "best right-back in the country" following his side's 2-1 victory over Leicester City in the Premier League.
The Scotland defender was pivotal in Villa's home victory, as he netted the winner in the 71st minute to claim all three points and his first goal for the club.
"Alan is at the top of his game right now," Lambert said after the contest, according to talkSPORT.
"I've said from the very start of the season, he's come into the team and looked great and he's never moaned or anything - he's a top class professional.
"For me, he's playing like the best right-back in the country at the moment."
The win sees Villa sitting in 11th position in the Premier League table.
