Paul Lambert has expressed his delight after seeing his Aston Villa side beat Rotherham United 3-0 in the Capital One Cup.
The home side had a comfortable evening with goals from Andreas Weimann, Christian Benteke and Fabian Delph securing a third-round match against Tottenham Hotspur.
"Some of the football was excellent. The third goal - the one-touch football was brilliant," he told Sky Sports News.
"Cup football is a difficult thing because you can play against a small team and they are a totally different animal to what you are used to playing in the league. But we handled it well."
Villa's tie against Spurs will be played at Villa Park.
