Aston Villa have reportedly agreed a £17m deal with Lyon for Bertrand Traore, who will complete his move to the West Midlands outfit later this week.
Dean Smith's side have already been active in the transfer market with the signings of Matty Cash from Nottingham Forest and Ollie Watkins from Brentford, while Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is also believed to be closing in on a move to Villa Park.
Now, Sky Sports News reports that Traore will soon make a return to the Premier League with Villa after a £17m deal was agreed for the former Chelsea man, who made 16 appearances for the Blues across all competitions in the 2015-16 season.
The report claims that Traore will pen a four-year deal with Smith's side, and the 25-year-old will fly to the West Midlands on Wednesday after completing his medical abroad on Monday.
Traore signed for Lyon on a permanent basis in 2017, and the Burkina Faso international has gone on to register 33 goals in 125 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit since his arrival.
