Aston Villa youngster Samir Carruthers has joined MK Dons on loan.
The Republic of Ireland U21 international, who agreed a new two-year contract at Villa Park this summer, will remain with the League One outfit until January.
Carruthers has made three Premier League appearances since joining Villa from Arsenal's youth system.
The midfielder has enjoyed success with Villa's Under-21 and youth sides, winning the FA Youth Cup in 2010 and captaining the team that triumphed in the NextGen Series European competition.
