Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann has paid tribute to his club's supporters following Wednesday's 2-0 victory over Barcelona in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final.
Atletico entered the return match at the Vicente Calderon trailing 2-1 from the first leg at Camp Nou, but a double from Griezmann saw the capital outfit book their spot in the semi-finals.
"The team has made a great effort to be among the best four of Europe. The win is also for the fans, they always support us in an incredible way," Griezmann told reporters.
Atletico, who also knocked out Barcelona at the same stage of the 2013-14 competition, have joined Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in the final four.
