Atletico Madrid and France attacker Antoine Griezmann has revealed that he is striving to become "a complete player".
The 25-year-old has scored 65 times in 120 appearances for Atletico since making the move from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2014, while he won the Golden Boot for France at Euro 2016.
Griezmann took his season total to eight with a brace in Atletico's 2-1 win over Rostov in the Champions League on Tuesday night, and the forward has claimed that he is working hard "to improve each year".
"I try to be a complete player in attack and in defence, I want to improve each year. I have improved in assists, which was very important," Griezmann told reporters.
"I had been a few games without scoring so I really wanted to celebrate a goal. I wanted to score, so I am happy. They are a good team, similar to us in some ways, it was about finding a gap and taking the chances.
"At the start I did not know if it was going to count or not but the referee said it was a good goal. But I am very happy, I am in a good moment and in a good place. Sometimes they go in and sometimes they don't."
Griezmann continues to be linked with big-money moves to Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, who are both believed to hold a firm interest in the Frenchman.
