Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has handed starts to both Antoine Griezmann and Diego Costa for the first leg of the Europa League tie with Lokomotiv Moscow.
The pair both failed to get on the scoresheet as Atletico were defeated by Barcelona at the weekend, but Simeone shows his intent to win this competition by starting both men at the Wanda Metropolitano.
However, with goalkeeper Jan Oblak out injured, Axel Werner is brought into the starting lineup for his first-team debut.
As far as Lokomotiv are concerned, former Tottenham Hotspur defender Vedran Corluka and Portuguese forward Eder are both named in the first XI.
The inclusion of Corluka is the only change from the side which began the goalless draw with Spartak Moscow at the weekend.
