Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has talked up the abilities of playmaker Koke ahead of his anticipated return from injury this weekend.
The creative midfielder has been out of action since last month, but is expected to return on Sunday when Madrid travel to face David Moyes and Real Sociedad at the Anoeta Stadium.
"He's fine. He's excited and eager to play again and he'll obviously be a starter. Koke is an extremely important player for us," Simeone told reporters ahead of the clash.
"He can play in different positions. He's the link between the attack and defence and the midfield. He gives us tactical and technical possibilities that make him a decisive player."
Koke has so far made 151 appearances for Atleti since breaking into the senior team in 2009.
