Relive Sports Mole's live coverage of the La Liga match between third-placed Atletico Madrid and fourth-placed Valencia.

Valencia came from behind in the second half to secure a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid in La Liga this evening.

Koke put the defending champions ahead following a free kick in the first half, before Shkodran Mustafi equalised late on.

The visitors finished with 10 men as Javi Fuego was booked twice in two minutes late on, while Tiago hit the woodwork for the hosts.

Read how all the action unfolded below.

Good evening! It's just a few minutes until third and fourth in La Liga do battle, with Atletico Madrid hosting Valencia. There's just time for a quick look at the teams...
ATLETICO MADRID STARTING XI: Moya, Godin, Siqueira, Juanfran, Gimenez, Riago, Koke, Turan, Gabi, Garcia Torres
VALENCIA STARTING XI: Alves, Mustafi, Barragan, Otamendi, Gaya, Parejo, Perez, Fuego, Negredo, Feghouli, Piatti
ATLETICO SUBSTITUTES: Oblak, Gamez, Hernandez, Suarez, Jimenez, Cani, Mandzukic
VALENCIA SUBSTITUTES: Rodriguez, Cancelo, Orban, Augusto, de Paul, Gomes, Rodrigo
PREDICTION! The players are just making their way out, so there's just time for a quick prediction. Both sides need to win this one to maintain the faintest hope of winning the title. Valencia have been in superb form recently, but Atletico are difficult to beat at home, so it's going to be a close one, but I think Atletico will just edge it 2-1.
KICKOFF! Valencia get the action underway!
Atletico try to get on the attack early on as Torres attempts to run past Otamendi. The defender holds him off long enough to let Alves claim the ball, before another run from the striker leaves the defender on the deck. It looks like those two could be in for a bit of a battle.
Koke plays the ball forward to Garcia, who squares it on the turn for Gabi, but the midfielder can't get his shot away, and the visitors are able to go on the counter.
CHANCE! Alvaro Negredo has the first real shot of the night as he attempts an ambitious overhead bicycle kick, but he doesn't quite get it right, and it deflects off teammate Feghouli and behind for a goal kick.
Atletico are targeting Raul Garcia as they get the ball to him right in front of goal. Alves makes sure that he can't take the shot on himself, so he nods it out for Tiago, but Gaya eventually clears. It's been a high tempo start from both sides, and neither has the upper hand so far.
Parejo backheels the ball towards Negredo from the edge of the box, but it's blocked in the crowded penalty area, allowing the hosts to quickly get the ball back down the other end.
Garcia and Torres have been working together well in the opening stages of this match, and they link up again to force a corner for the Spanish champions. Koke crosses it in, but Alves is ready, and leaps up high to claim it.
BOOKING! Otamendi and Torres have another coming together in the box, and the striker looks for a spot kick. The referee isn't buying it though, and he books Torres for catching the defender in the face with a flailing arm.
Torres isn't put off by the booking as he leaps around in the box again, trying to beat Gaya to the ball to get a shot away, but the defender forces it behind for a corner. Koke's delivery is excellent, but Torres can't quite get his foot to it, while Alves claims the ball back in from Gabi.
Torres is a marked man now that he's on a yellow as Valencia are looking to test his patience. Fuego holds him up in midfield, but he catches the striker and gives away a free kick, but Otamendi clears Gabi's delivery.
There hasn't been a great deal of action in front of either goalmouth so far, with Valencia not getting forward much, and Alves commanding the six-yard box to limit Atletico's opportunities. It's certainly been a tense start to the match though, as is to be expected with so much at stake between two sides keen to sure up Champions League qualification.
The home side win another corner, but Gimenez is penalised for using Barragan's shoulder's to propel himself upwards, giving the visitors the free kick before Atletico can attempt a shot. Atletico have definitely been the more attacking, but they've been wasteful in front of goal so far.
Juanfran is a fraction late challenging Gaya, catching the defender on the front of his shin, just above his shin pad. He's left clutching his leg in agony, but it looks like he'll be ok to continue.
BOOKING! Mustafi is the first Valencia player to go in the book for catching Torres from behind. It's his fifth booking of the campaign, so he'll be suspended from their next match.
GOAL! Atletico Madrid 1-0 Valencia (Koke)
Koke has been working hard in midfield so far, and he gets forward onto the edge of the box as Torres nods the ball down to Tiago, who in turn chests it back to Koke, who rifles the ball in from the edge of the area to break the deadlock.
BOOKING! Pablo Piatti picks up a booking for manhandling Juanfran while trying to fire home an equaliser down the other end.
Juanfran uses all of his strength and pace to take the ball down the right flank, but Fuego forces him out before he can get his cross in. Meanwhile, Valencia try to catch the hosts out with a quick counter. Aside from Negredo's overhead effort early on, there hasn't been too much to worry the Atletico defenders so far.
Juanfran battles hard again, and this time he keeps it in play, setting Garcia up to cross it in for Torres, but the striker is beaten to the ball by Alves. The Valencia goalkeeper has been keen to claim the ball early so far this evening.
It's certainly been a tetchy first half as Valencia win a free kick in midfield as they push to get back on level terms before the break. Otamendi lifts the ball high for Feghouli, but his cross it too high far everyone, and goes harmlessly out the other side.
BOOKING! There's a bit of pushing and shoving between Parejo and Juanfran, but the referee leaves the duo to sort it out among themselves. Enzo Perez goes too far though when he lunges into Tiago, earning himself a silly yellow just before the interval.
HALF TIME: Atletico Madrid 1-0 Valencia
So there's not a lot in it at half time as Koke's goal is all that separates the teams after 45 minutes. It's certainly been a gritty, physical meeting, and it promises to be another hard-fought 45 minutes after the interval.
Here are some of the stats from the first 45 minutes. Valencia actually had more of the ball with 53%, but Atletico had more shots, with three attempts at goal, including Koke's effort. Valencia had just the one shot, and that failed to test the keeper, which both sides have conceded 10 fouls.
If you're just joining us today, you've probably missed the three matches that have already been completed in La Liga today. You can read all about them on our results page.
The players are making their way back out ready for the second half.
RESTART! Atletico get the action back underway.
Valencia have just been keeping the ball among themselves in the opening couple of minutes of the half. There's no real urgency going forward so far, but it's a steady start to the second period for the visitors.
BOOKING! Negredo is livid that he doesn't get a free kick when he's tripped by Turan, and his reaction earns him a yellow.
Piatti and Negredo try to find a way down the left flank, but there's a miscommunication between the two, and it comes to nothing. Barragan tries to fire one in high for Piatti moments later, but it's too high. Valencia are obviously keen to get forward and there's a bit more urgency about them now than in the first half, but their not finding each other all that well in the box.
BOOKING! Otamendi hasn't been afraid to make a challenge for the visitors this afternoon, but it's one too many from the defender, and he picks up a booking for charging into the back of Garcia.
CHANCE! Atletico put the visitors under pressure for the first time since the restart as Godin heads the resulting free kick on towards Garcia, but he can only nod the ball to Alves.
BOOKING! There are cards a plenty early in the second half as Guillherme Siqueira goes in the book for a foul on Feghouli.
SUB! The visitors are the first to make a change as Feghouli, who hasn't been able to get going, is replaced by Rodrigo.
SUB! The home side also make a change, and it's Mandzukic, who has allegedly had a fall out with the manager, coming on for Torres.
The second half really hasn't got going yet as Valencia try to launch it forward again, but it's an optimistic long ball forward from Parejo with no-one on the other end to receive.
Valencia are relying on the long ball forward far too much as Fuego launches it foward again, but Atletico are too well drilled at the back to be caught out by such a move, with Godin booting it clear.
SUB! Andre Gomes comes off the bench for the visitors, taking the place of Enzo Perez.
SUB! The goalscorer, Koke, is done for the day as Mario Suarez dtakes his place for Atletico.
OFF THE BAR! Atletico come within millimetres of doubling their advantage as Tiago tries to smash it in from close range, but he slices it too high looking to pick out the roof, and he has to watch it crash back of the bar.
BOOKING! Mandzukic tries to get himself open in the box, but he ends up in a bit of a scuffle off the ball with Otamendi, earning him a booking which means he'll be suspended for next week's match against Espanyol.
Valencia manage to get back down the other end, with Gaya sending a dangerous cross in, which Godin takes a careless swipe at in a bid to clear, leaving it to go just wide of the post. That's would of been a catastrophic own goal had it been a couple of inches the other way.
Valencia have certainly seen the majority of the ball in the last few minutes, and they have a free kick in a dangerous position.
GOAL! Atletico Madrid 1-1 Valencia (Shkodran Mustafi)
It's a stunning set piece from Daniel Parejo to set up the free kick as he goes for goal from 30 yards out as he spots Miguel Moya off his line. The keeper just manages to scramble back to keep it out, but he tips it back straight to Shkodran Mustafi, who is left with the simplest of finishes to get the visitors back on level terms.
Well, after a fairly quiet second half, it's set up nicely for a, hopefully, entertaining final 10 minutes. You have to feel Valencia have the momentum at this stage, but Atletico will surely respond.
SUB! Atletico send on an extra striker in a bid to find a late winner, with Raul Jimenez coming on for Gabi.
Atletico force a corner, which is curled in right in front of goal, but Alves is alert and quickly snatches it for the visitors. Incidentally, Mustafi's goal came from Valencia's first shot on target!
CHANCE! Mandzukic's first touch is good as he control's a through ball from Jimenez. The striker attempts to pull it back for the recently-introduced striker, but Otamendi, who has been superb for Valencia, gets in the way.
CHANCE! Valencia quickly make their way down the other end, but Andre Gomes's finish is just a fraction high.
BOOKING! Otamendi might be a little fortunate to still be on the pitch as he and Fuego both catch Mandzukic, but only the latter is booked. Otamendi has already been booked, so would have been off.
BOOKING! It's cards all-round at the minute as there's a bit of a scuffle between Godin and Barragan, earning each of the a yellow. Meanwhile, Atletico force a corner from the free kick.
Mandzukic tries to get a shot away, but it's claimed by Alves, ensuring that the visitors remain level.
RED CARD! Just moments after picking up a booking, Javi Fuego is off for Valencia as he carelessly slices into Jiminez. He knows what's coming and doesn't even stay to watch the referee get the cards out.
CHANCE! Mandzukic tries to nod the ball in from the resulting free kick, but Alves holds onto it. It wouldn't have counted anyway though, as three Atletico players were offside.
BOOKING! It will be easier to point out who hasn't been booked at full time as Mario Suarez is the latest to catch the eye of the referee for a late challenge.
Raul Garcia brings down Orban out wide to give the visitors a free kick in a promising position right at the end of stoppage time. Parejo drills it in, but it's easily cleared.
FULL TIME: Atletico Madrid 1-1 Valencia
Neither side managed to produce their best football this evening, but it was a hard-fought match, with the passion of both teams overspilling a few times in a heated clash at Vicente Calderon.
The draw means Atletico stay just ahead of Valencia in third. The defending champions are now seven points off the top of the table, while Valencia have a five point cushion over fifth-placed Sevilla.
Well, that's all from this match, but join us again tomorrow evening for the final match in this round of La Liga fixtures as Getafe travel to Cordoba. Until then, thanks for joining me this evening. Goodbye.
