Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has claimed that he is not interested in the FIFA Coach of the Year award.
The Rojiblancos' boss was omitted from the 10-man shortlist, which contains such names as Rafael Benitez, Jose Mourinho and Vicente del Bosque.
Atleti's president Enrique Cerezo declared his unhappiness at the governing body's failure to nominate Simeone, but the Argentine himself is not overly concerned about the shortlist.
"I've always said, I do not look for credit in different places, I just try to do good in the eye of the people who employ me," Simeone told reporters ahead of their game with Granada.
"I have to continue working with my team, with my players, trying to do my best for the club, which is what matters most to me."
Atleti are currently second in La Liga.
