Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has praised his team for their performance in Saturday's 2-0 win over Granada in La Liga.

Goals from Diego Godin and Antoine Griezmann secured all the points for the visitors, who are now just two points off the top of the table.

Simeone has said that his side "had a complete game" against Granada, praising both his defenders and forwards for contributing to the win.

"We had a complete game and played with the same security that the squad had displayed in recent games. The whole team made a huge effort defensively, from our defenders to our forwards, and now we want to keep improving in this aspect," Simeone told reporters.

Atletico have not been beaten in any competition since losing to Benfica in the Champions League at the end of September.
