Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has said that he understands the frustration shown by the club's fans following their 2-2 draw at home to Celta Vigo at the weekend.
The La Liga champions went behind to the visitors before recovering to take the lead at half time, but they couldn't go on to win the game after Nolito's second-half penalty restored parity.
After the game, Simeone said that he 'appreciates' the fact that the fans were unhappy with the result.
"I'm surprised that such a spontaneous act from people that love their team and its manager causes so much talk - it's respectable," Simeone told reporters.
"They are thinking about what is best for the team. Sometimes in football you can approve some things and not others.
"Even though you are loved by the Atleti fans, it's normal that they can review any decisions that you take. It was a spontaneous act and these are the ones I appreciate in life."
The draw means that Atleti are already four points behind league leaders Barcelona after just four games.
