Spain coach Vicente del Bosque could select Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa in his 24-man squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifier against Finland.

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque is reportedly considering selecting Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa in his 24-man squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifier against Finland.

The 24-year-old, who was born in Brazil, has made two appearances for the Selecao, but both were in non-competitive fixtures.

The powerful forward achieved Spanish citizenship this summer and is therefore available for selection should Del Bosque wish to acquire his services.

Costa has scored three times for Atletico this season.
