Atletico Madrid forward Fernando Torres has admitted that he respects Diego Simeone's decision to consider his future as manager of the Spanish outfit.
Last weekend Simeone told reporters that he would have to "think" about whether to quit his job in the wake of Atleti's Champions League final defeat to rivals Real Madrid.
"We all want him to stay. We would love him to stay," said Torres, currently on loan at Atletico from AC Milan. "But he is within his right to reflect. Everything else is hypothetical."
Simeone, who guided Atletico to their most successful ever season in 2013-14, is rumoured to be of interest to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
