Sports Mole takes a look at who impressed as Atletico Madrid beat Sevilla 4-0 in La Liga this evening.

Atletico Madrid moved into second spot in the La Liga table with a 4-0 win over Sevilla this evening.

Koke, Saul Niguez, Raul Garcia and Raul Jimenez were all on the scoresheet for the home side, who proved too strong for an under-par Sevilla outfit.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at who impressed during the La Liga contest.

ATLETICO

Goal

Miguel Moya: Only had one attempt to deal with all evening, but looked unsure from a couple of high balls. That said, his distribution was very good this evening. (6/10)

Defence

Juanfran: As expected, provided an outlet down the right and delivered a number of telling crosses into the Sevilla box. The right-back was also defensively sound. (7/10)

Diego Godin: Dominant performance from the centre-back, who was brilliant in the air and calm on the deck. On top form, there are few better in world football. (8/10)

Miranda: Alongside Godin, proved a rock at the heart of the defence. The usually dangerous Carlos Bacca never had a sniff due to the form of Atletico's two centre-backs. (8/10)

Cristian Ansaldi: Had a couple of nervy moments defensively in the first period, but like Juanfran, was always a threat in the final third. His crossing was very impressive. (7/10)

Midfield

Gabi: Was somewhat surprisingly withdrawn at the break. Has been subbed in almost all of his appearances for Atletico this season, but no injury has been reported. (6/10)

Koke: Very good performance from the Spaniard, who scored the first before setting up Jimenez late on. Caused Sevilla all sorts of problems as he roamed around the pitch. (8/10)

Tiago: Was not really involved in the final third, but kept things ticking over in the middle of the park. Seems to get better with each passing season. (7/10)

Attack

Arda Turan: Came close to scoring with a couple of long-range attempts, but failed to find the back of the net. Another strong performance from the Turk, who linked the midfield and attack. (7/10)

Mario Mandzukic: Was a surprise inclusion after recently breaking his nose and put himself around in his usual manner despite the presence of a face mask and obvious pain. (7/10)

Saul Niguez: Scored his first senior goal for Atletico late in the first period. The midfielder was bright and inventive in forward areas this evening. (7/10)

Substitutes

Raul Garcia: Introduced for Gabi at the break and proved an aerial threat to the Sevilla defence. Got his goal from the penalty spot late on after Antoine Griezmann had been felled. (7/10)

Antoine Griezmann: Caused havoc after replacing Saul, with the Frenchman's pace and quick feet winning his side a penalty. Made a very positive impact from the bench. (7/10)

Raul Jimenez: Scored his first Atletico goal with a clever header late on. Another that impressed from the Atletico bench this evening. (7/10)

SEVILLA

Goal

Beto: Was not really at fault for any of the Atletico goals and did make some smart saves throughout the contest. Can be content with his own performance despite his side's result. (6/10)

Defence

Diogo Figueiras: Gave away a really poor penalty late on after bringing Griezmann to the ground. That incident capped what was a disappointing display from the defender. (5/10)

Nicolas Pareja: Koke's effort unfortunately deflected onto Pareja and past Beto for Atletico's first, while he made a number of rash challenges throughout the contest. (5/10)

Daniel Carrico: Perhaps the steadiest of the Sevilla defenders this evening, but he was caught out positionally as Atletico turned the screw in the latter stages. (6/10)

Midfield

Timothee Kolodziejczak: Was subbed at the interval following a poor first-half display. Might have been sent off for a late challenge on Gabi and looked well off the pace. (4/10)

Benoit Tremoulinas: Was one of his side's better players on the night, but still struggled to contain an interchanging Atletico attack. (6/10)

Stephane MBia: Put in some brilliant performances for Sevilla last season, but has not had a similar impact this time around. Got involved with the referee more than he contributed to his team. (5/10)

Grzegorz Krychowiak: Another that was guilty of a number of rash challenges in the first period as he struggled to get close to the Atletico midfield. (5/10)

Attack

Aleix Vidal: Has used his pace to good effect this season, but did not have much joy this evening. Started well, but faded before being subbed in the latter stages. (5/10)

Carlos Bacca: Always looked capable of making something happen, but was simply starved of the ball in the final third. Became frustrated with the lack of support. (6/10)

Vitolo: Was also subbed at the interval following an ineffective first half of football. (5/10)

Substitutes

Denis Suarez: Showed some nice touches in the final third, but struggled to seriously make his mark against a strong and compact Atletico defence. (6/10)

Ever Banega: Another that was introduced at the break, but the Argentine could not get on the ball in dangerous areas. Has the talent, but his temperament is still questionable. (5/10)

Gerard Deulofeu: Thrown on with little over 10 minutes remaining, but was hardly seen as Atletico controlled the latter stages of the contest. (5/10)
