Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each individual player performed during Celta Vigo's 2-0 La Liga win over Atletico Madrid.

Nolito and Fabian Orellana were both on the scoresheet as Celta Vigo beat Atletico Madrid 2-0 in La Liga on Sunday.

Both goals came in the second period, with the hosts proving too strong for an under-par Atletico.

Celta have moved into ninth position with the win, while Atletico are now seven points off the leaders Real Madrid in third.

Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each individual player performed during the La Liga clash.

CELTA

Goal

Sergio Alvarez: Made a sensational save to deny Antoine Griezmann in the second period as he proved a real tower of strength between the sticks for the home side. (8/10)

Defence

Sergi Gomez: Completely nullified Atletico's usually-strong threat from a wide position. Did not get forward on too many occasions, but was defensively impressive. (7/10)

Gustavo Cabral: Went toe-to-toe with Fernando Torres during the first period and won that battle convincingly. Did not put a foot wrong for the home side. (7/10)

Andreu Fontas: Had a very comfortable first period, but was called into action in the second half. Made a number of crucial blocks during another solid showing from the Spanish defender. (8/10)

Jonny: A little untidy in possession when he broke into the final third, but was defensively excellent. Made a super block to deny Mario Mandzukic when the score was still 1-0. (7/10)

Midfield

Nemanja Radoja: Was not too involved in possession of the ball, but provided excellent protection to his back four during what was a dominant midfield performance. (7/10)

Augusto Fernandez: Sat deep alongside Radoja as Celta won the midfield battle convincingly. Was also nice and tidy in possession of the ball. (7/10)

Michael Krohn-Dehli: Has reinvented himself as a central midfielder this season and the Dane was again at home in that position. Just never stopped working. (8/10)

Attack

Fabian Orellana: Scored his side's second with a sensational finish. Caused the Atletico defence absolute nightmares with his work in the final third. (9/10)

Joaquin Larrivey: Had an excellent chance to end his league scoring drought in the second period, but somehow missed the goal. Was a threat throughout the match. (7/10)

Nolito: Just misses out on the man-of-the-match award to Orellana. Opened the scoring from the penalty spot and was involved in absolutely everything for the hosts. (9/10)

Substitutes

Pablo Hernandez: Replaced Larrivey after 76 minutes and did well to immediately pick up the pace of the match. Provided an extra body in the middle of the park. (6/10)

Alex Lopez: Only given the final two minutes. (5/10)

Santi Mina: Did not touch the ball during his 30 seconds on the field. (5/10)

ATLETICO

Goal

Miguel Moya: Probably his side's best performer on the night. Was beaten twice, but made some super saves. Needed a lot more protection from those ahead of him. (6/10)

Defence

Juanfran: Usually such a threat in the final third, but the right-back only ventured forward on a couple of occasions. Was also a little suspect in defensive areas. (5/10)

Diego Godin: Like Moya, cannot really be blamed for the defeat. Made a number of crucial challenges, but was ultimately outnumbered when Celta turned the screw. (6/10)

Miranda: Fairly solid alongside Godin, with the Brazilian also bailing his side out in the first period. It was not really a performance where the defence can be blamed. (6/10)

Guilherme Siqueira: Has had a strong couple of months since securing the left-back position, but struggled here. Not much going forward and a little shaky at the back. (5/10)

Midfield

Gabi: Could not stop giving the ball away in the middle of the park. Came as no real surprise when he was subbed moments after Celta scored their second of the match. (4/10)

Tiago: Only lasted 34 minutes as Diego Simeone made a tactical change. (4/10)

Saul Niguez: Had such an impressive match against Real Madrid last time out, but the Spaniard returned to earth with a bang. Never really got going in the middle of the park. (5/10)

Attack

Antoine Griezmann: Has been Atletico's standout player in recent weeks, but the Frenchman lacked service here. Did his best to get things moving, but needed more from those around him. (5/10)

Mario Mandzukic: Had some half-chances during Atletico's decent spell in the second period, but could not find the back of the net. Really struggled to make his presence felt. (5/10)

Fernando Torres: Given a rare start in the league, but the striker was far from his best. Only lasted the opening 45 minutes before being replaced. (4/10)

Substitutes

Mario Suarez: Was introduced after 34 minutes to help balance the team, but the Spaniard struggled. Gave away the penalty for Celta's first after bringing Nolito to the ground. (4/10)

Cani: Replaced Torres at the interval as Simeone attempted to release Griezmann, but the on-loan Villarreal midfielder never really got into the match. (5/10)

Raul Jimenez: Given the final 15 minutes, but hardly touched the ball. (5/10)
