Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each individual player performed during Atletico Madrid's 3-1 La Liga win at Eibar.

Mario Mandzukic scored twice as Atletico Madrid beat Eibar 3-1 in La Liga on Saturday evening.

All three of the away side's goals came in the first period, with Antoine Griezmann also on the scoresheet.

The hosts pulled one back through Federico Piovaccari, but it was too little, too late.

The result has moved Atletico level on points with second-place Barcelona, while Eibar remain eighth.

Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each individual player performed during the match.

EIBAR

Goal

Xabi Irureta: Made a couple of smart saves, but had to pick the ball out of his own net on three separate occasions. Had little protection from his defence. (5/10)

Defence

Lillo: Decent second-half performance, but really struggled in the first period. Found Griezmann difficult to handle when the Frenchman turned on the speed. (5/10)

Raul Navas: Did not make any real errors, but was ultimately part of a defence that fell apart in the first period. Was caught out of position on too many occasions. (4/10)

Txema Anibarro: Like a number of his teammates, was pulled all over the pitch in the first period, but settled down as the match developed. (5/10)

Abraham Minero: Did his best to cause problems in a wide area and that was the case in the second half following a difficult first period. (5/10)

Midfield

Jon Errasti: Showed his frustration during Atletico's dominant first-half display. Was one of three players to be subbed at the interval. (5/10)

Borja Fernandez: Tasked with providing protection to his back four, but the midfielder found it tough, especially in the opening 45 minutes. (5/10)

Manu del Moral: Had Eibar's best chance in the first period, but fired straight at Miguel Moya from close range. Was also hooked at the interval. (5/10)

Mikel Arruabarrena: Another that really struggled to influence proceedings in the first period. The match simply passed him by and he was also withdrawn at the break. (4/10)

Saul Berjon: Always looked capable of making something happen in the final third and it was no surprise that he set up his side's consolation goal late on. (6/10)

Attack

Federico Piovaccari: Had a largely frustrating match due to a lack of service, but the striker found the back of the net late on with a clever finish. (6/10)

Substitutes

Javi Lara: Was a surprise that the midfielder did not start and he certainly made a difference in the second period. Caused Atletico problems in wide areas. (6/10)

Ander Capa: Caused the visitors some concern with his dangerous deliveries. Like Lara, he immediately made Eibar a better side in the second period. (6/10)

Dejan Lekic: Had a couple of bright moments in attack, but never really saw enough of the ball. (5/10)

ATLETICO

Goal

Miguel Moya: Had a really good match for the visitors. Made a number of excellent saves and was strong from crosses, which were plentiful in the second 45 minutes. (7/10)

Defence

Jesus Gamez: Given the nod at right-back in place of Juanfran and had a decent match. Not too involved in the final third, but nice and solid in defensive areas. (6/10)

Diego Godin: Was not tested on too many occasions, but the centre-back went about his work impressively. Atletico missed his presence against Barcelona last week. (7/10)

Jose Gimenez: Continued his outstanding development with a solid performance at the heart of the defence. Will have much tougher tests, though. (6/10)

Guilherme Siqueira: Now the first-choice left-back for the Spanish champions and the defender put in another reliable performance here. (6/10)

Midfield

Saul Niguez: Given a rare start in a deeper role and the youngster certainly did not let anyone down. Had an impressive first period, but did not feature too heavily in the second. (6/10)

Tiago: A no-nonsense performance from the Portuguese, who always looked in control. (6/10)

Koke: Did not have too many chances to showcase his set-piece delivery, but the Spaniard was more than up for the battle on a difficult pitch. (7/10)

Attack

Antoine Griezmann: Made it 11 league goals for the season with an excellent opening goal before setting up Mandzukic for the Croatian's first with an excellent cross. (7/10)

Mario Mandzukic: Completed the 90 minutes and hit an impressive brace. Both goals were fairly routine finishes, but the striker was in the right place at the right time. (8/10)

Raul Garcia: Given the captain's armband due to the absence of Gabi, and the midfielder went about his business well before departing early in the second period. (6/10)

Substitutes

Mario Suarez: Replaced Garcia after 55 minutes and the Spaniard tightened up the midfield. Will be keen to bounce back from his red card against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey. (6/10)

Raul Jimenez: Struggling for starts at the moment, but the Mexican did feature for the final 20 minutes here. Needs time to adapt to Spanish football. (5/10)

Cani: Given the final 10 minutes, but did not see too much of the ball. (5/10)
