Atletico Madrid moved to the top of La Liga thanks to two last-gasp goals at Rayo Vallecano this evening.
After a cagey opening at the Campo de Futbol de Vallecas, Atletico went close twice in quick succession through Yannick Ferreira Carrasco.
Antoine Griezmann and Fernando Torres also threatened for the visitors before half time, but Rayo, who were beaten 10-2 at Real Madrid in their last match, held firm.
The second period was meandering towards another goalless half until the final couple of minutes when Atleti finally broke through.
First, substitute Angel Correa volleyed home after a neat passing move before Griezmann sealed the win in the final minute of normal time with a clipped finish.
Victory sees Diego Simeone's men move back above neighbours Real Madrid at the top of the table, but they will be overtaken by Barcelona if the Blaugrana beat Real Betis tonight.
