Atletico Madrid have announced the signing of forward Nikola Kalinic from AC Milan on a three-year contract.
Kalinic only joined Milan on a permanent deal this summer, having spent last season on loan from Fiorentina.
The 30-year-old has now immediately moved on to the Wanda Metropolitano, however, with Atletico confirming the deal on Thursday afternoon.
"Atletico de Madrid and AC Milan have reached an agreement over the transfer of 30-year-old striker Nikola Kalinic. The Croat will join our club on a three-year deal," read a statement on Atletico's official website.
Kalinic, who was sent home from the 2018 World Cup after refusing to come off the bench for Croatia, scored six times in 41 appearances for Milan during the 2017-18 campaign.
Atletico are understood to have paid a transfer fee of £13m for the striker.
