Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Atletico Madrid.
Giroud only linked up with Chelsea in January after being allowed to leave Arsenal, but the arrival of Maurizio Sarri has resulted in a number of players being linked to and from Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are allegedly willing to sell Giroud this summer - providing that Gonzalo Higuain arrives from Juventus - and according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, a meeting has already been held between Atletico and Chelsea officials.
Atletico are said to have been looking to bring in Nikola Kalinic from AC Milan, but it has been suggested that the Spanish giants are not willing to wait for Milan to make a decision.
Giroud - who scored five times for Chelsea last season - has previously indicated a desire to remain in London, but dropping down the pecking order in Sarri's squad could potentially force the France international to consider his options.
