Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is reportedly preparing a January move for Celta Vigo's much-coveted striker Iago Aspas.
The 25-year-old, whose goals ensured Celta were promoted to La Liga last season, has scored six times in Spain's top division this season.
It was suggested that Swansea City were the favourites for the speedy striker, but according to AS, Atletico are keen to pair Aspas with Radamel Falcao in attack.
Celta sporting director Miguel Torrecilla recently admitted that he expects Aspas to depart Spain in the near future.
