Atletico Madrid will reportedly re-ignite their interest in Napoli striker Jose Callejon when the winter transfer window opens in January.
The La Liga champions were strongly linked with a move for the former Real Madrid attacker in the summer, but Napoli repelled the interest.
According to calciomercato.com, Atletico have now been given encouragement in their pursuit after the player made it clear that he wants a return to Spain.
The Spaniard joined Napoli from Real Madrid in 2013 and scored 20 times during his first season in Naples, including 15 in 37 matches in Serie A.
