Augsburg coach Markus Weinzierl has revealed that his side are travelling to Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday night to take the points and not just to make up the numbers.
The 16th-placed side head into the Bundesliga game on the back of a 2-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt that moved them to within three points of getting out of the relegation playoff spot.
"We're going to Monchengladbach to add to our good performance from the home game against Frankfurt and to score points," Weinzierl told the club's official website.
"If we can perform and win points we will put more pressure on competitors."
The game kicks off at 7.30pm.
