Newly-promoted Bundesliga outfit Fortuna Dusseldorf have begun their campaign in the German top flight with a 2-0 away victory over Augsburg.
Dani Schahin was the hero for the visitors, as he bagged both goals in the second half.
Schahin broke the deadlock for Dusseldorf in the 68th minute when he shot from with his right foot from outside the Augsburg penalty area.
The forward, who had come on as a substitute, found the target again on 79 minutes when he slotted in Robbie Kruse's delivery from close range.
Next up for Dusseldorf is a tough home tie with Borussia Monchengladbach next Saturday, while Augsburg face an equally challenging trip to Schalke 04.
