A second-half goal blitz has seen AZ claim a resounding 3-1 win over FC Twente in Sunday's Eredivisie clash at the AFAS Stadion.
The hosts opened the scoring just after the hour through Vincent Janssen, who came in at the near post to apply the finishing touch to Joris van Overeem's corner with a powerful strike into the net.
Janssen was on hand again just nine minutes later, as Thom Haye's cross was nodded home by the 21-year-old striker, and in the 79th minute AZ killed the game off with a third goal, this time through Guus Hupperts.
Although Twente grabbed a consolation three minutes later through Hakim Ziyech, they could not mount a fightback as the hosts comfortably saw the game out and clinched all three points.
The result sees AZ climb into ninth place in the Eredivisie table, while Twente remain languishing in the league's relegation zone.
