Former France international Eric Abidal has claimed that Paris Saint-Germain "have little chance" of making it through to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
PSG will travel to Barcelona on Tuesday for the second leg of their quarter-final, currently trailing 3-1 from the first leg last week.
Abidal, who represented Barcelona between 2007 and 2013 and also played in France with Monaco, Lille and Lyon, believes that it will be a straightforward progression for his former club.
"PSG have little chance and I'm well-placed to say that because I know Barcelona inside out," the 35-year-old told Le Parisien. "The French side will not be favourites and they'll find it hard to avoid defeat. In any case they have to score and if they concede it will be even more difficult.
"That said, we can't take the first leg into account as PSG were without a lot of players and I'm not sure there is too much difference between the sides.
"Once both teams reached the quarter-finals you couldn't do anything but accept that they are in similar form. To sum up, PSG are going to find it really hard to win."
Abidal retired from football in December 2014.
