Barcelona have revealed that Ousmane Dembele suffered a hamstring injury in Saturday's defeat to newly-promoted Cadiz in La Liga.
The France international has endured a torrid time with injures since his big-money move to Catalonia, but Dembele has been showing plenty of promising signs under Ronald Koeman this season.
Indeed, the winger boasts four goals and two assists across all competitions in the 2020-21 season, but Dembele underwent tests after the defeat to Cadiz, during which he came on as a second-half substitute.
Barcelona confirmed on their website that the 23-year-old sustained a hamstring injury at the weekend, and the grade of the injury will be determined in the coming days.
As a result, Dembele will not be available for Barca's Champions League showdown with Juventus on Tuesday, although Koeman's side have already been assured of their place in the last 16.
A second-half winner from Alvaro Negredo saw Cadiz pick up all three points against the Catalan giants at the weekend, with Barcelona now eighth in the La Liga table.
