Luis Suarez has claimed that Barcelona can have no excuse for failing to collect three points from their Champions League meeting with Roma.
Alessandro Florenzi scored a remarkable equaliser from close to the halfway line to cancel out Suarez's opener as Roma held the defending champions to a 1-1 draw in the Italian capital.
It could prove to be a good result for Barcelona in Group E, but Suarez admits that he was left frustrated by Roma's defensive tactics.
"We know how Italian sides are: they sit back and it's hard to break them down," the Uruguayan told reporters. "We controlled possession and had a lot of chances, but they scored from distance, which was a slice of luck.
"We did all we could to win, but we didn't have any luck. We can't look for excuses."
Barcelona return to action against Levante on Sunday night.
