Javi Martinez has insisted that Bayern Munich have been unaffected by Barcelona being labelled favourites ahead of their Champions League semi-final.
Arjen Robben, David Alaba and Holger Badstuber are among the players missing for Bayern ahead of Wednesday's first leg at Camp Nou, but Martinez claims that the squad are not intimidated by the challenge ahead of them.
"We are very focused and clear on this goal. Our opposition is irrelevant. It's a shame that so many of my teammates are out injured, but that's football. Our task is to give our best on the pitch, and at Bayern there's a lot of that," the Spaniard told DW Sports.
"I don't think there's a clear favourite in a game like this. In Champions League semi-finals, the chances are always 50/50. Both Bayern and Barcelona have a lot of quality and that means you can only expect a very tough battle. The little things will decide who wins the game."
Bayern beat Barcelona 7-0 on aggregate when the two sides met at the same stage in 2013.
