Andriy Shevchenko has backed his former club AC Milan to progress to the Champions League quarter-finals at the expense of Barcelona.
The two sides will clash at Camp Nou in the second leg of their last-16 tie on Tuesday.
"Every player possesses a degree of fear when they play at a stadium such as Camp Nou," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "However, especially if you are young, you gain a great deal of confidence from these games and they help you grow as long as you are talented enough.
"Milan have to play as if the game is still 0-0 with midfielders and forward willing to sacrifice themselves for the team. I'm sure [coach] Massimiliano Allegri has already spoken to the players about this. Milan have a good chance of getting through."
Milan won the first leg 2-0 at the San Siro last month.
