Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has heaped praise on Juventus stopper Gianluigi Buffon ahead of Saturday's Champions League final in Berlin.
Buffon has won the World Cup, six league titles, two Coppa Italias and the UEFA Cup during his illustrious career, but the European Cup has so far eluded the 37-year-old.
Ter Stegen believes that the Italian is having "one of his best seasons", but insists that he will do everything in his power to prevent him getting his hands on the trophy when the two sides meet this weekend.
"Buffon is a great keeper and there is nothing I can say about him that hasn't already been said," Ter Stegen told reporters.
"He's having one of his best seasons and I know it's a great chance for him to win the Champions League, but I want to win it too."
Both Barcelona and Juventus will be gunning for a treble when they meet at the Olympiastadion, having already wrapped up their respective domestic league and cup titles.
