Barcelona midfielder Xavi has underlined the importance of scoring in the away leg of their Champions League semi-final tie against Bayern Munich.
The Catalan giants will take on the newly-crowned German champions in the first leg at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday.
"It's important to score away from home because of away goals counting double," he told reporters on Monday. "I think looking back on the Milan game is the reference point of our season but we're going to try and score goals – this will be vital if we're going to get through to the final.
"I think this tie is 50-50. Bayern are a great team, they've won the league and are in the final of the German Cup. They are maybe playing a bit better than us going into the semi-finals but we're going to try play our own game.
"They'll try to impose their game, which is quite similar to ours, but we'll see what happens on the pitch. We want to show the best of ourselves. We've had players missing in recent games and I hope that going into tomorrow's game we'll see the best of Barcelona."
The second leg will be played at Camp Nou in Barcelona next week.
