AC Milan have beaten Barcelona 2-0 in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie at the San Siro.
After a goalless first half, the hosts took the lead in the 57th minute when Kevin-Prince Boateng fired in from the edge of the penalty area.
An under-par Barca struggled to create any decent openings in front of goal as the hosts defended doggedly at the back.
Milan were rewarded for their efforts in the 81st minute as Sulley Muntari lashed in a volley past Victor Valdes.
