Barcelona booked their spot in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey with a 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.

Neymar struck twice for the away side, while Miranda scored an own goal to hand the Catalan outfit three for the night.

Atletico's goals came from Fernando Torres - who opened the scoring inside one minute - and Raul Garcia, but the hosts, who finished with nine men following reds for Gabi and Mario Suarez, bowed out 4-2 on aggregate after losing the first leg 1-0 last week.

Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each individual player performed during the clash in Madrid.

ATLETICO

Goal

Jan Oblak: Conceded three times on the night, but could do little with any of the goals. Made some smart saves, especially in the second period, where Barca dominated possession. (6/10)

Defence

Juanfran: Won his side's penalty, but it was fortunate to say the least. Just one of a number of players that struggled with discipline. Departed the field just before the hour. (5/10)

Miranda: Struggled badly without his usual centre-back partner Diego Godin. Scored a poor own goal and found it difficult to contain Barca's front three for long spells. (5/10)

Jose Gimenez: Made a couple of mistakes, but that is expected at the age of 20. Has a bright future and will learn from facing attackers of the highest calibre, which was the case here. (6/10)

Guilherme Siqueira: Picked up a booking 20 minutes from time as Atletico's frustration grew. Caused Barca problems in the first period, but faded badly in the second. (6/10)

Midfield

Gabi: Was given a red card at the interval following an incident that occurred in the tunnel. Let his team down badly when they needed him most. (3/10)

Mario Suarez: Came as no surprise when he picked up a red late on following a number of late challenges. Struggled to match the quality on offer from the visitors. (4/10)

Raul Garcia: Showed nerves of steel to score from the penalty spot, but was guilty of some play-acting in the remainder of the match. Took the captain's armband in the second period. (6/10)

Attack

Arda Turan: Had a positive first period, but was involved in a bizarre incident in the second half where he appeared to throw his boot at the linesman in a moment of frustration. (5/10)

Fernando Torres: Scored an excellent goal inside 40 seconds, but struggled for the remainder of the match. Worked ever so hard, but was let down by the lack of service. (6/10)

Antoine Griezmann: Was the fall guy at the break following the red card for Gabi. Might have won a penalty in the first period during a lively 45 minutes. (6/10)

Substitutes

Saul Niguez: Replaced Griezmann at the break and the Spaniard showed a great deal more maturity than a number of his more experienced teammates. (6/10)

Jesus Gamez: Replaced Juanfran just before the hour and can be pleased with his performance on a personal level. Slotted into right-back with no problems at all. (6/10)

Cani: Tested Marc-Andre ter Stegen with a stunning effort in the second period, but picked up a yellow card late on for a really poor challenge on Lionel Messi. (6/10)

BARCELONA

Goal

Marc-Andre ter Stegen: Had little to do at the Calderon aside from picking the ball out of his own net on two occasions. Steady enough in possession of the ball. (6/10)

Defence

Dani Alves: Not as involved in the final third as he usually is, but the Brazilian still had a decent night. The defender's long-term future, however, remains unclear. (6/10)

Gerard Pique: Was far too rash earlier in the season, but the Spaniard is now a calming influence. Never looked in trouble and made some crucial first-half clearances. (6/10)

Javier Mascherano: Was guilty of losing Torres too easily for the opening goal of the night, but the Argentine recovered to produce a steady display at the heart of the back four. (6/10)

Jordi Alba: Did brilliantly to set up Neymar for the Brazilian's second goal on what was another lively and composed performance from the Spanish left-back. (7/10)

Midfield

Sergio Busquets: Did exactly what was needed in front his back four. Managed to keep his discipline during feisty periods of the match. (6/10)

Ivan Rakitic: Now enjoying his longest run in the Barca side. Had a steady evening in the middle of midfield without really threatening to have a serious impact. (6/10)

Andres Iniesta: Has struggled to find his best form in recent months, but this was much more like it from the Spaniard. Radiated class each time he had possession of the ball. (7/10)

Attack

Neymar: Had a super night in Madrid. Scored two very different but equally impressive goals and gave the Atletico backline an absolute torrid time during his 77 minutes on the field. (9/10)

Lionel Messi: Played his part in two of Barca's three goals in what was another impressive showing. Always looked capable of making something happen in the final third. (7/10)

Luis Suarez: Snatched at a couple of half-chances, but set up Neymar for Barca's first of the night with a sensational pass. Work-rate never in question. (7/10)

Substitutes

Jeremy Mathieu: Replaced Mascherano just past the hour and had no trouble settling into the back four. (6/10)

Rafinha: Has not had too many starts this season, but he is such a talented footballer. Helped the visitors maintain possession in the final stages of the match. (6/10)

Pedro: Only had the final 13 minutes to make an impression, but still showed some nice touches. (6/10)
