Barcelona forward Luis Suarez has admitted that his team were surprised with their 4-0 win over Real Madrid on Saturday.
Los Blancos were seen as the slight favourites to triumph on home soil in El Clasico, but four unanswered goals from Barcelona saw the Catalan outfit record a monumental win in Madrid.
Suarez, who bagged two goals in the rout, has said that his side "did a very thorough job" from the first minute to the last.
"We didn't expect to win 4-0. We always said it would be a tough game, but we did a very thorough job from the first minute," Suarez told reporters. "It was a cluster of many coincidences. Madrid are one of the best teams in the world, but we took advantage of their mistakes."
The result moved Barcelona six points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga table.
