Neymar and Luis Suarez have put Barcelona in control with a 2-0 half-time lead over Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou.
Barcelona dominated possession in the early stages of the game, and the lead belonged to the hosts in just the 12th minute when Neymar fired home from close range after Suarez had failed to add the finishing touch to Lionel Messi's cross.
Luis Enrique's side threatened to double their advantage a few moments later, but Miguel Angel Moya managed to keep out Jordi Alba's powerful strike before pushing the ball away from Suarez in the six-yard box.
Atletico's struggles to threaten the Barcelona defence invited more pressure, with Neymar heading wide of the target from an inviting Suarez cross.
Moya was forced into another save to deny Messi at the end of a fast Barcelona counter-attack as the home side continued to dominate against the champions.
However, the Atletico goalkeeper was unable to prevent Barcelona from taking a bigger lead into the break as Messi forced his way into the box before finding Suarez, who scored his side's second of the night with a calm finish.
