First-half goals from Neymar and Luis Suarez have given Barcelona a 2-0 lead over Real Sociedad at Camp Nou in La Liga.
The visitors made a bright start, with Carlos Vela attempting to set Xabi Prieto up for an early goal, but Claudio Bravo was able to claim it for the reigning champions.
Barcelona came close to opening the scoring down the other end a couple of minutes later as Luis Suarez played the ball in for Andres Iniesta, but the midfielder's header came back off the post.
Sergio Canales tried to set up an equaliser for the visiting side a couple of minutes later, beating Gerard Pique to put the cross in for Vela, but the Barcelona keeper was ready to claim it again.
Neymar got the breakthrough for the hosts midway through the first half as Dani Alves put a low cross in for the Brazilian, leaving him to curl the ball into the top corner.
Luis Enrique's side pressed for a second when Suarez was brought down, giving the hosts a free kick, but Lionel Messi's delivery was cleared by Esteban Granero.
Barcelona did double their lead before the break though as Alves made a run down the right shortly before the half-time whistle, crossing in for Suarez to volley into the bottom corner.
