Barcelona have confirmed that Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo suffered a calf injury during a training session on Monday.
The 32-year-old has started the Catalan outfit's first two league games of the new campaign after fighting off a challenge from Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who also joined the club last summer.
However, according to Sport, the stopper could now be out of action for the next couple of weeks with the complaint.
The injury was confirmed by Barcelona on Tuesday, but the club did not specify a time period.
Nevertheless, Ter Stegen is expected to be handed the gloves for the trip to Atletico Madrid this weekend.
