Defender Eric Abidal made his first start for Barcelona since undergoing a liver transplant last year.
The Frenchman played the entire 90 minutes as La Liga's runaway leaders edged Levante 1-0 at Camp Nou.
He had the transplant in April 2012 but had not started a match since February 29 last year.
Next up for Barca is the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against German side Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
