Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba has admitted that he 'feels bad' for Gerardo Martino after the Argentine was relieved of his managerial position at the Catalan outfit.
The former Newell's Old Boys coach joined Barca last summer, but departed after failing to lead the club to a major trophy this season.
"The season hasn't been good," Alba told reporters.
"I feel bad for all my teammates, since we're the ones who really feel it the most, for the fans and for Tata, because he's been criticised without any justification.
"I really feel worst for the coach."
Luis Enrique has since been appointed as the new head coach of Barcelona.
